Using secure video conferencing software you can meet with your psychologist at a time and place convenient for you.
Online therapy is provided in much the same way as if you were to attend an appointment in our Mornington office. Using secure (HIPAA compliant) video conferencing software you will be able to interact similarly to how you would in person. Stirling Psychology will email you relevant resources prior to your appointment with your psychologist online.
In 2017 the Australian Government extended Medicare funding for psychological services to include Telehealth (videoconference) services for people living in an eligible rural or remote locations. Under the Better Access Scheme people diagnosed with a mental health disorder can access up to 10 individual and 10 group treatment sessions per calendar year. Please note a Mental Health Treatment Plan is required from your GP or Psychiatrist.
