Thanh is passionate about supporting individuals, couples, and families during the perinatal period. She has an open, warm and caring
approach ensuring clients feel immediately at ease in the therapeutic environment. It was through her role as a Home-Start Volunteer
with Perinatal Anxiety & Depression Australia (PANDA) that Thanh developed a passion for prevention, early intervention and treatment
approaches to perinatal mental health. Thanh recognises the importance of relationships during this time and enjoys working with couples as
they transition into parenthood.
Prior to joining the team at Stirling, Thanh worked in community health, not-for-profit and educational settings. Thanh has experience working with children, adolescents and adults in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, stress, life transitions, interpersonal difficulties and anger management.
Thanh has provided early intervention and prevention services through group facilitation, parent sessions and couples counselling in supporting families with adjusting to parenthood. Thanh continues to work in community health in supporting families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds during the perinatal period.
