Prior to joining the team at Stirling Psychology Mornington, Sarah worked in government, not-for profit, and educational settings. Sarah has experience working with adolescents, and adults in both school, hospital, and community settings, providing individual and group-based interventions that vary from brief to long-term therapeutic engagement.

Sarah has provided education to health professionals in the areas of drugs and behaviour.

Sarah has experience providing psychological treatment to adults who have experienced depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, difficulties adjusting to changes in life circumstances, stress management, grief associated with chronic health conditions, interpersonal difficulties, and self-esteem issues. Sarah has also worked as a behavioural therapist and provided treatment to clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

After completing Australian post graduate studies Sarah began working privately with clients on the Mornington Peninsula. Sarah enjoys working with young adults and adults who may be experiencing mental health conditions (e.g., depression, anxiety); those having difficulty adjusting to changes in life circumstances (e.g., financial difficulties, workplace stressors, moving to a new area); people who are currently stressed and want to develop better coping mechanisms; and men and women who have experienced trauma.

Sarah appreciates the use of online psychology services to remove barries to much needed support. She believes that enabling Australians access to high quality online psychologists will ensure many more Australians have access to the support they need and enable them to live their best life.

Sarah’s level of education and training led to her receiving registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and being awarded membership to the Australian Psychological Society. Sarah is currently undertaking registrar training in working towards gaining endorsement as a clinical psychologist.

Sarah’s training spanned 6 years of full-time university study. After finishing Australian undergraduate studies in psychology, Sarah completed a Graduate Diploma of Psychology at Deakin University, Australia. Sarah later completed a Master of Clinical Psychology at Bond University, Australia.
