whole family. This include promoting breastfeeding, transition to solid foods and family foods, managing fussy eating, food allergies or
intolerances in infants and young children. Konsita also has expertise in supporting adults with disordered eating behaviours such as
emotional eating, binge eating, yoyo dieting and generally an unhealthy relationship with food.
Konsita provides a warm, supportive and empowering approach tailored to each individual’s and family’s needs. Konsita believes that it is important to work collaboratively with each individual and family to find effective and sustainable strategies to improve their nutrition, health and wellbeing. She seeks to understand where they are at and empower them to move forward with compassion.
This is achieved through building clients’ motivation, confidence and also knowledge in making healthy dietary choices. Konsita helps each client with meal planning, goal setting, monitoring changes, planning for tricky situations that sabotage healthy eating, and reflecting on successes/challenges to build resilience.
Konsita is committed to providing evidence-based treatment and continues to stay up to date with current research through ongoing professional development activities.
Konsita has lived and travelled to various South East Asian countries, and has a keen interest in people, food and culture.
